Statement of Claim
CONSUMER LAW GROUP has filed a national class action lawsuit against Cencora and its affiliate partner Innomar Strategies with respect to a significant data security incident culminating in the exfiltration of the personal health information of patients in patient support program and other customers.
Cencora reports that it became aware of a data security incident impacting its information systems on February 21, 2024 and confirmed on April 10, 2024 that the personal health and other information of its patients participating in patient support programs and/or in receipt of other products or services had been exfiltrated and stolen by malignant cyber actors. The data breach impacted Canadian and US patients, and Cencora, formerly known as AmerisourceBergen also submitted a data breach notification to the Office of California’s Attorney General, as required under California law.
